Principal Architect

As Principal Architect, Blake brings 25 years of Education Environment experience to PlanNorth in the areas of Public PK-12,  community college, and multi-use learning environment projects.  Blake has led school districts and communities from the earliest phases of planning into bond campaigning, through programming and design, and through final construction. Blake’s portfolio features multiple award-winning projects where he served as Architect of Record for small and large districts, with recognition in the areas of overall value, educational programming, and design. Blake takes particular pride in watching the impact new and improved facilities make in communities over time. He earned undergraduate and graduate architecture degrees from Texas A&M University, and continues to serve as a design mentor to the entire PlanNorth team. Blake lives with his wife, Lisa, and two children, Mia and Conner, and when away from the office looks forward to a weekend with the extended family in Hutto.
